Folk Music and Classical Western Music
Research plan and general idea
As a musician I have been playing folk music concerts for a long time. I had my education and bachelor diploma on classical music. After a certain time, the idea of mixing to styles came to my mind. I have been listening classical music since i was child, and as I can hear some composers like Aram Khacaturian, Bela Bartok, Alberto Ginastera, George Gershwin, etc. used different elements then traditional western classical composers used. My plan to make a research about how they used those elements, what is the effect on their composition.
