Open Recruitment Call for Editorial Committee Members

VIS – Nordic Journal for Artistic Research is a biannual digital journal published as a joint initiative of Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH) and the Norwegian Artistic Research Programme (Diku). We are currently looking for two new members to join our Editorial Committee.

Members of the Editorial Committee collectively select and provide editorial feedback on the expositions published in the journal, choose its themes and overall direction and take turns acting as editor for individual issues. The position lasts for two years, entails about 80 hours of work annually, and is remunerated for those members who are not part of an academic institution.

As an applicant, you should have a strong arts practice and be well acquainted with artistic research, preferably across several disciplines, with experience conducting, supervising or reviewing it. In addition, we are striving towards a better balance among the Editorial Committee members. We especially welcome applicants who can contribute to perspectives of diversity and have an awareness of artistic research beyond a Western cultural context. In addition, we welcome candidates with native or near native-level knowledge of Norwegian, Danish or English.
