Professors of Fine Art and Professor of Art Therapy

At the University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Ottersberg, three professorships will be filled in September 2024.

Fine Arts - Painting and Drawing (50 %)

Fine Arts - Painting - analogue and digital image concepts (50 %)

Art Therapy (50 %)

We are looking for personalities with expertise in the above-mentioned specialisms and a pronounced interest in internal and external cooperation in research and teaching.

The professorships are situated in the Bachelor programmes in Fine Arts, Art Therapy and Social Work. They are involved in the research and networking activities of the University.

The willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration is a prerequisite, as is the willingness to play an active and teaching-related role in the inclusive profile of the HKS Ottersberg.

Teaching is 9 hours per week. Teaching language is German.

The Remuneration is based on the company pay scale.

The HKS Ottersberg, founded in 1967 and state-recognised since 1984, offers Bachelor's and Master's degree courses in artistic fields. Around 350 students and 20 employees make up the academic community. In the degree programmes, artistic and scientific approaches to knowledge are closely linked to the requirements of the fields of application and professions.
