New Master of Arts in Theatre (MATch)

We would to invite applications to introduce our new Master of Arts in Theatre (MATch) at the Zurich University of the Arts and invite applications for its inaugural round in the Fall Semester 2024. Our new fulltime two-year degree program creates a unique space of interdisciplinary encounter for artists from across the fields of theatre and performance practices well as performance pedagogies.

MATch places the development of practice-based research projects at the core of the program.
MATch focuses on collaborative and co-creative work processes that combine artistic and theoretical exchange on applied practice. 
MATch brings together experienced artists, researchers and educators in an interdisciplinary context who participate in shaping the content and methodology of the major. 
MATch offers a space for experimentation beyond professional and production pressures.
