VIS Issue 11 with the theme Play, come what may was published 2 April 2024. Editors are Cecilia Roos and Gunhild Mathea Husvik-Olaussen.

How do we relate to the concept of reality? As an artistic researcher, how do you work with concepts of truth, falsehood, originality and imitation in a time of ever-changing flux? What role can manipulation play as a processual tool in artistic research?

VIS Issue 11, Play, come what may, contains six expositions, each of which, in its own way, challenges our understanding of reality, truth and origin as artistic method, material and/or a theme.

Editors of the issue are Cecilia Roos, Professor at Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH), and Gunhild Mathea Husvik-Olaussen, Associate Professor of Scenography at The Academy of Theatre in Oslo.

Hur förhåller vi oss till begreppet verklighet? Hur arbetar du som konstnärlig forskare kring begrepp som sanning, falskhet, originalitet och imitation i en tid av ständigt växlande flöde? Vilken roll kan manipulation spela som ett processuellt verktyg i konstnärlig forskning?

VIS nummer 11, med tema Play, come what may innehåller sex expositioner som var och en på sitt sätt utmanar vår förståelse av verklighet, sanning och ursprung som konstnärlig metod, material och/eller tema.

Redaktörer för numret är Cecilia Roos, professor på Stockholms konstnärliga högskola (SKH), samt Gunhild Mathea Husvik-Olaussen, biträdande professor i scenografi på Teaterhøgskolen i Oslo.
