Transart Institute for Creative Research

Final PhD Admissions & Anthologies Assembly

Final PhD Admissions 2024
Due to last-minute deferrals, three new places in our 2024 PhD Creative Research course have opened up with the option to start July 22 or September 1. Applications will be reviewed as received until May 31. Apply here.

Anthologies Assembly
July 22–26, Exhibition Research Lab, Liverpool John Moores University.

Join us for our first TT/LJMU partnership PhD graduate exhibitions, performances, panels, screenings, and talks including:

Danses Vulnérables: Bodies Telling Stories In Their Fact Of Presence with exhibition works by: Karen Ami, Gina Dominique, Marie-France Forcier, Anne-Sophie Lorange, Juliette M. Ludeker, Nancy Messegee, Carrie E. Neal, Eve Provost Chartrand, and Erin Wilkenson.

Drawing inspiration from Raimund Hoghe’s intimate knowledge of the innate storytelling ability of creative bodies, nine PhD candidates invite the audience to immerse themselves in shared moments of presence, where language, movement, image, collaboration, and sound unfold in harmony and where artworks transcend mere visual representation to challenge conventional narratives.
