The 16^th  SAR International Conference on Artistic Research will take place from 7 to 9 May 2025 at the University of Porto, Portugal.

 

SAR and i2ADS – University of Porto invite you to a three-day in-person conference in Porto, Portugal, to share and discuss how artistic research can resonate beyond its specific contexts and disciplinary borders.

 

The Programme includes over 50 presentations of artistic research around the following prompts:

- Resonance is about responsiveness

- Resonance is about transferability and transformation of experience

- Resonance is not consonance

- Resonance is searching and imagining

- Resonance is an invisible movement crossing geographical space and historical time

- Resonance is about transforming materialities

- Resonance is an effect of time and duration
