The Norwegian Artistic Research Spring Forum 2026

The Artistic Research Spring Forum 2026 will take place in Lillehammer, Norway, from 16–18 March, and online on 20 March. 

The Artistic Research Forum (ARF) is a conference where doctoral candidates in Artistic Research present and discuss their ongoing projects. We expect more than fifty presentations of PhD projects from across all artistic fields. ARF is an important arena for constructive and critical dialogue within the interdisciplinary Artistic Research community. The event includes plenary sessions, a supervisors’ seminar, and social gatherings. 

The forum is organized by the Norwegian Artistic Research Programme.
