Kasmin discusses first meeting David Hockney after viewing his work in the 1961 Young Contemporaries, and Gillian Ayres (1930 - 2018) recalls the difficulty he had in being able to show and sell Hockney's work in Malborough Gallery, where Kasmin worked at the time.
