Title: Bel canto
Topic: Bassoon works of bel canto style
Reasoning and progress Plan: The project revolves around the musical element of Bel canto, from the beautiful moments it brings to people, to the long-term influence on music, and the thinking and active creation it triggers.
Therefore, I plan to perform the following works, in order to express the musical meaning that “Bel canto” brings to composers and us.
bel canto was restricted to beauty and evenness of tone, legato phrasing, and skill in executing highly florid passages,
there are many different expressions of music, “Bel canto” is one of them. This form of expression sublimates the theme by transforming the singing of music into singing. The singing in the instrumental performance has similarities with vocal music for example :Support, breath, body resonance and singing the “words” etc…

My plan is:
Listen to the related works of all composers, analyze and summarize the styles of different composers, so as to better understand their creative intentions.
Dig deep into the works to the utmost extent, dig out the subtleties of performances, and dig into the details.
Through the first two, we will repeatedly sculpt ourselves and create works that we are unanimously satisfied with.
All of the works are played with piano, find same or different way to make special colors
Study one or two works carefully every month, exchange opinions and suggestions with tutors and musical partners. At the same time, arrange concert-based rehearsals with the partners.
Apply for school concerts, off-campus concerts, online concerts, and temporary performances at classic parties. In short, it means more performances and more summing up of experience.
Summarize:
I would like to find back the singing bassoon sound and share it with you in bel canto style, hope you like it!
