These themes came up in my search for constellations. Because of the containment of the many, united in the singular. This idea reminded me of Deleuze and Guattari's Rhizome Theory from 'A Thousand Plateaus', where they question the meaning of the individual within the multiplicity. Can one "I" be many, where does the individual end and the other begin?

I was reminded of this idea of the futile vs the meaningful in Guido Van Der Werve's work as he also works a lot with the tension or meaning that a timeframe creates, particularly in film.

D & G speak of the book as the "image of the world", an object that is inherintly futile, but meaning is applied to its multiplicities, its pages. So I experimented with book-making as a possibile way to hold my research.
