Group Workshops

Oslo (NMH): November 27th-30th, 2019 (first meet-up).

In our initial in-person meeting we synchronised our thoughts and ideas regarding fundamental work methods and technologies. Given that we were operating in distinct countries, utilising diverse facilities and technologies, and coming from varied artistic backgrounds, we wanted to explore commonalities without constraining our individual expressions.

Oslo (NMH): January 9th-13th, 2020.

The second workshop in Oslo included cross testing our different microphone technologies, sound recording field-trips in Oslo to investigate the ideas proposed in the November workshop, testing new loudspeaker technologies, and presenting a research seminar and concert titled "Extending Time".

Paris (IRCAM): November 18th-28th, 2021.

The Paris workshop included workshops, creations, listening sessions and panel discussions. It was the largest and most intense workshop week, and the documentation shows most of our work at IRCAM.

Greenwich (University of Greenwich): 17th-24th July, 2022 (preparations) and 25th-27th October 2022 (public events).

The workshop at Greenwich spanned two periods. In the first period we investigated several case study locations. In the second period we created a public outdoor improvisatory concert, and then travelled to Chatham to present our work in the Sonic Cartography conference, University of Kent (UK), Chatham Dockyard.
