Rain.

How ro recreate a rainy atmosphere inside? Recreating the feelings and emotions one is linking to rain.

Postcard #1. L210.

This is the first experiment in which the postcards where the inspiration.

A person is waiting in an undefined (foggy) space. One fluorescent light lit up the space.

A one take shot whit a lot of noise on the recording. Filmed as if it was in black and white.

A sound is heard which is reminding you of an outside, windy, rainy place.

Postcard #3. I.

This is the third experiment derived from the postcards.

Contrast, with two opposites: construction and deconstruction, an apocalyptic or non-apocalyptic world.

An iron I-beam is both at the same time. It is used to construct, but when deconstruction occurs, they become visible.

The surface of the beam was made wet, to see the reflection of the small maquette streetlight.

This experiment is best seen in a darkened room, so you can see the boundaries of the small light on the I-beam and how much it reflects on the water. One side is lit, the other one is covered in darkness.

In a lightened room, the structure of the beam becomes visible.

Neon streetlight.

Neon-lights. The purity and simplicity of how neon is emitting bright light is an interesting factor..

I recreated a streetlight in "neon". The streetlight is emitting light, and so is the light post. I made one light, inspired by the experiment in postcard #1.

The lightpost that is lighting itself is giving the feeling of isolation and something private. It's only emitting itself and a little bit around it. The rest of the space is left in total darkness.
