Backdrop (1977) is a “narriterative” of the project Backdrop (Venice). It was realized from the documentation of the eponymous project for the context of a research day in a contemporary art museum, simultaneously and ambiguously as autonomous artwork and supplementary object of research, aiming at introducing the methodological strategies implemented in artistic research, beyond the linear and dialectical logic project/documentation.
