In Oslo; in the physical world. Immersed as we were in discussions about the ethics, mechanics and feeling of collaborating with non-human entities (or processes, to be more accurate), it never crossed our minds that playing together, or even being human together, in a room would become impossible. So now, from the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, it becomes impossible to write about those experiences without a taste of their luxuriousness lingering in the mouth. By luxuriousness I mean not expensive fabrics, jewellery or foods but that simple act that we took for granted: to be in close proximity in a room together. David Toop, August 2020
