Anthropocene Diorama

The manmade cave and former mould store in Stoke-on-Trent have through previous workshops in Spode 1 st served as a private Pleistocene Diorama: a Cave was Allocated, and then decorated with some colour as they would have done in the Pleistocene, possibly.

After the 2nd workshop in March 2014 the cave is currently in the late holocene, mostly shaded in the purple hues of a British industrial revolution sunset.

For the British Cheramic Biennale the cave will need to enter the Anthropocene, for this an X-factor, consisting of large quantities of reactive dyes, will be added during the last workshop in August.
