Camilla Holm Birkeland (1986, Norway) lives in Bergen and is in her last year of a BA in photography at Bergen Academy of Art and Design.
My work contains portraits of a woman situated in the Spode Factory, and it has elements of nostalgia and melancholy. As a photographer I'm interested in catching the mood and the atmosphere through the character and in the places where the character is situated.The melancholic mood is present in all of the photographs. The character is the functional in a dysfunctional place.
