JEN ALLEN, Germany

lecturer I researcher

is a writer, lecturer, and writing mentor for contemporary arts and for Artistic Research. She developed a method especially for artists to make writing easier and to turn their artistic practices into Artistic Research projects.

In writing, she is working on the question of space: getting artists to have a better awareness of the spaces of writing, however small, in order to help them with all of their writing tasks. Whether or not they decide to write a thesis or other research reports, artists are increasingly required to write.

Can they take advantage of their existing skills base as ARTISTS to make their writing tasks easier?
