I create immersive experiences that transform space through the power of sound.
At the crossroads of scenography, composition, and media, I collaborate with institutions, curators, and creative teams to transform space into a communicative and aesthetic medium — from a listening perspective.
I co-founded TAUCHER, a Berlin-based studio specializing in sound scenography. At TAUCHER, we develop and realize sound for exhibitions, installations, and cultural projects. Our work encompasses concept development, sonic dramaturgy, composition, and on-site implementation, all carried out as part of multidisciplinary teams within complex contexts. We approach sound scenography from a design perspective — as the art of staging space with sound.
I studied film sound at the Film University Konrad Wolf in Potsdam-Babelsberg, and later, I pursued doctoral research at McGill University in Montréal. At McGill, I developed a phenomenological framework for understanding sound in exhibitions. This perspective continues to inform my applied, conceptual, and artistic work.
Alongside TAUCHER, I co-initiated the spæs lab for spatial aesthetics in sound and developed MNTN, an immersive composition environment focusing on presence instead of simulation.
I contribute to the field through writing, talks, and courses — sharing insights on sound, scenography, spatial authorship, and sonic dramaturgy. I’m especially interested in bridging aesthetic perception, spatial thinking, and communication design.
