Trisha Brown’s Cube consists of numbers 1-27. Using the number generator on

google LINK HERE, list down a ranmdon order 16 of these numbers.

(Make sure to set the options from 1 to 27)



After listing down the order, create 16 movements. You can use as inspirations basic movements such as: 


  • Swing - a pendular motion of a body part that can move forward and backward or side to side. 

 

      Twist - a partial rotation of body parts around an axis.

  • Turn - inwards & outwards, parallel / turned in, & varying levels. 
  • Shake - a short quick vibrating movement in a body part or the whole body. 
  • Bend-a flex of a body part at a joint. 
  • Stretch - extending a body part or the whole body.
  • Kicks - forward / back and side, on a plie/rise/jump, straight leg/developpe.
  • Wiggle - a small or big, fast or slow curvy movement of a body part or the whole body.
  • Sway - shift of the body weight forward, backward,side to side or in a circular pathway.
  • Transfer of weight.
  • Elevated sequence using different types of basic jumps.
  • Isolation of body parts & impact of weight on individual body parts.
  • Understand the flexibility of the spine & its function. 

After creating the 16 movements match them with each number of the sequence and perform them in the corrisponding direction on the cube.
