In this exposition I would like to write about Perfosentimiento. I have been researching and materializing a Serie around this concept for some years.
The feelings worked in the serie were born in the crack with certain rules of painting, psychoanalysis and performance art. The derivated works are seek for a transdisciplinary alternative.
This research is deeply connected to my experience of context and the concepts I used in each case to inhabit it. Some of the paintings have been part of installations in institutions. Others are the product of experiences, ideologies and learnings.
I call this contexts "molds" since I work with a culinary method to decompose my work. For more info about the method you can check my previous exposition Las guerras púdicas or I may include something about this in the future.

Performance does not pretend to illustrate the feeling but it is a work in the sense of achieving a materialization of the feeling through the gestures that feeling implies. Some feelings require more limited gestures and others more expansive, such as anger.
The time of each process is an attempt to reassure me against catharsis. This work goes in the direction of retaking the concept of sublimation of psychoanalysis and the imagination of matter from Bachelard. This work deals between the rules of painting, the expansion of performance art, the non-savage psychoanalysis and the contemporary art bureaucracy.

Since I started the Series Perfosentimientos I have noticed that Sentimientos or Feelings are usually presented in group.
Although there may be situations where a feeling takes up a larger portion of the scene, in general there are mixtures of feelings because there´s a gradient between them.
So I include this particularity in my research. For instance, this work "Sadness, anger, certainty".
