Project 2 is created out of collecting notes with a lot of “to-do-lists”. Once collected and stuck together on a big piece of paper, I noticed that almost all of them weren’t finished. To do’s were written on new to do lists, and still not done. What could be another way of remember tasks I needed to do? And so the screen format off the to do’s was created : P2V1.
After letting the project rest, a few years later I still found myself in the stress of doing things, and not using the tv as a medium to help me. Through the course re-deconstruct that I followed in my time of studying at ArtScience, the opportunity to re-deconstruct this project seemed like a good idea. Started with deconstructing the poem of Charles Bukowski; “No leader’s please” it inspired me to deconstruct the “to do’s” in a similar way.
Instead of making a list and crossing them out when done, I let faith decide whether I should do it or not. A score was created for a live performance; “Should I’s for Monday November 29th 2021”, also known now as P2V2. An audio recording is done from the live performance.
