Make-up
They used a variety of colors for makeup. In particular, use bright colors such as bright pinks, oranges, and reds for standing out. They usually applied white on thier whole face.
Clothes
The flamboyant and eccentric clothing was heavily influenced by period costumes, and much of the clothing was dandy and theatrical, with glamorous frills and lavish materials such as satin, silk and velvet. Many bands that emerged from the New Romantic movement became closely associated with the use of synthesizers to create rock and pop music, which has led to the widespread misconception that synthpop and the New Romantic movement were synonymous. -Wikipedia David Bowie, Bryan Ferry and Boy George were all influential singers of the era.
