BACKGROUND: ART THERAPY DIPLOMA
Within my diploma thesis in art therapy at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts I pose the question, what makes the sink to a special location in art therapy with children. For different reasons I focus this research on the perspectives of the therapists. The research leaves a desire in me to further investigate.... Within this present artistic reasearch project I intend to concentrate on the kid's perspectives. In some way, the starting point for both projects is the same: My observation that children seem to have a certain attraction to the sink, that they like to extend their time and rest there for longer than for the intended cause.
