An encounter with the shore

An audio walk starring the street, riverbank and skyline, in which details that seem ordinary become special. Going from a narrow street to the panoramic views of the IJ, gradually you notice more and more details of the environment. Details that are overlooked, hidden or forgotten. Through focus and attention you experience the waterfront and the street in all their individuality. The story is already there.

MA scenography exhibition "In Limbo" - Utrecht, 2022
The Gans Studio will be demolished after the exhibition "In Limbo".
Limbo is a temporal state of being in between places. Between presence and absence, the past and the present or, the future and the here-and-now. Limbo is amidst the known and unknowing.
"Follow me" highlights the history and aesthetic of the building in its current stage and combines it with the personal view and presence of the artist in this space.

MA scenography graduation exhibition - Utrecht, 2023
A guided tour within the building of 2e Daalsedijk 8, a former NS office now part of the renovation project in the Wisselspoor area.
The various spaces of the building will reveal their hidden narratives not visible at a first sight through a jouney where you'll be guided to imagine through sound and projections.

With film and sound clips, you're guided around the house which will soon no longer be there.
Unexpected public encounters
MA scenography public space workshop - Utrecht, 2023
An exploration of certain pre-established behaviours, positions, directions, offered by public space meet the conventions of an outdoor gallery. Unexpected encounters challange the definition of 'public' leading to a second demonstration, where other surprising meetings will take place (as visible in the video on the right).
