Preparing the session with presenters
Please, be in the presentation space about 15 minutes before the session starts to meet the presenters and discuss with them how they want to be introduced, or if they wish to introduce themselves.
The presenters are also advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before the session starts to meet you and to set up their presentation.
In the space of each conference session, there will be a staff member, who will help with the presentation equipment, make sure there is drinking water available for the presenters, and assist in anyway needed.
This assistant will be in the space before the session starts.
He/she will also call the technician if there is a problem with the technical equipment.

Opening the session
Introduce the presenters at the beginning of their allocated time slot by stating the presenters’ names, title of the presentation.

Timing the session
Make sure that the session stays in schedule. Individual presentations need to start in time, and some time must be left for breaks in between. If the presenters wish to have time notifications, you should offer them.

Moderating the discussion
Help in distributing turns for participants to make comments and ask questions from the presenters and for the latter to answer. Advisable is to allow one question per participant if time is scarce.
If a participant uses time excessively, it is your responsibility to interrupt them and remind them on the schedule and/or leaving time for others.
