 J: What object have you chosen and  why?

 M: I chose a silver necklace with a  diamond heart pendant that my  grandmother gave to me years ago  because I always had a strong bond with  my grandma and I was so happy when  she passed it on to me.

J: What is the fondest memory you have with this object?

M: I wore this necklace on my prom and my grandma teared up when she saw the pictures. The heart pendant perfectly matched my prom dress.

J: Do you consider this object to be a part of your material biography?

M: Yes, it means a lot to me because it gave me the strength to be myself in a difficult situation.

J: What object have you chosen and why?

M: I wear it almost every day, especially on special occasions.

M: I will continue to wear this necklace every day while cherishing the memory of my living grandma.

J: What is the object's connection to your personal upbringing and culture?

M: Whenever I visited my grandma I admired her beauty and elegance and the way shes always confident. the necklace, for me, stands for all of this and whenever I wear it, I feel stronger.
