My mother chose her black heels she wore when she was in her twenties.
1: I got the shoes from a little vintage shop called Lady Day in Amsterdam.
It was one of my favorite stores.
2: I wore the shoes a lot to music nights. One of the fondest memories was North Sea Jazz. It was after my exam of the art academy in The Hague and I didn't know about the North Sea Jazz Festival. So I went for the whole weekend and celebrated and danced on these heels. I wore a black twenties dress with the black heels.
3: I can't walk on heels anymore sadly and don't fit them anymore so I kept them as a decoration. When I look at the shoes I will be rememberd of the nice memories.
4: My family never bought anything vintage, but I always loved it. I bought the shoes at a vintage store Lady Day.
5: For me it was very special to have this kind of heels, like milestone.
Because of how I was raised I wasn't used to having this type of shoes. I would only wear them for going out and it would make me feel special.
