The person I have chosen to interview is my mother Cleo Hooyer. Her dearest historical item is her great aunts necklace. She recieved this when her mother gave it to her on the day my brother was born. The necklace is a golden chain with a oval blue topaz stone set in a gold casing. When my mother passes on she will give the piece to me. She feels a connection with my brother Boas and the color of the stone.
