municipality's reuse center and created by architecture students from NTNU.
The project was developed during a two-week workshop for Pstereo festivalen 2025.
The pavilion serves as both a meeting place and an exhibition space. Materials from the reuse center have been used in the construction and placed on pallets to serve as seating. Small signs tell the audience about the materials' previous lives, for example: "I was a bracket for a lamppost in the city center. Now I am a pillar at Pstereo."
The parts that had to be adapted to the construction are painted red with linseed oil from MøreTyri, while other elements are used as they were found. The screws are unused and sourced from Sirken, a marketplace for surplus materials from the construction industry.
After the festival, the pavilion will be dismantled and the materials sent on to new projects. The name Transit refers to this journey, from one project to another, with a temporary stop at Pstereo.
