The Minor Sound: Auditory Cultures and Sonic Arts is a Transversal Minor at the Zurich University of the Arts exploring sound and listening from a broad range of perspectives. Focusing on Sound Studies and Sonic Arts approached as transdisciplinary fields of explorations, the minor offers a platform to engage sound and listening as ways to engage with the world.

Sound: Auditory Cultures and Sonic Arts

The Minor Sound is a study programme at the Zurich University of the Arts, as well as a transversal structure for artistic research on sound and listening. The platform focuses on sound studies and sonic arts from transdisciplinary perspectives, exploring the interrelations between practice and discourse.
