Physical preparation is about waking up the body and getting it ready to play. As musicians, we rely on specific muscle groups for hours, and a proper warm-up helps us connect with them before we begin practicing. This section focuses on movements and exercises designed to increase circulation, release tension, and activate the muscles that will be engaged during playing.

The inspiration for this section comes from the various yoga classes I have attended, my personal exploration of these exercises, and interviews with experts in the field, especially physiotherapists Mara Tar and Ana Belén Árbol.

I have structured this section into four distinct categories to provide clarity, although these elements can be seamlessly integrated into a comprehensive warm-up routine. All of which can be adjusted based on individual needs and energy levels.
