Children naturally share their imagination with others in order to connect. And by doing so they are looking for answers to the things they do not comprehend. Since I was young, dance allowed me to put my imagination into reality, out there in the world. Now older, and more developed, making my thoughts tangible does not give me enough satisfaction, I want to share them too. Therefore, choreography facilitates the communication of my imaginative realities to others.

Manifesto of Imagination

I sense a disconnection between people in society and I want to address this. I am missing a willingness to understand each other, almost a lack of empathy. Different points of view should be celebrated as they are a testament to personal experiences.

Yet, this is where the disconnect happens; each experience is unique, we all live in our version of reality, and the world is made up of our combined imaginations.

Imagination holds the key to puzzling our versions of reality together. We can look at the popularity of folktales and fantasy movies as proof. Interpretations of meanings might differ, nevertheless many can identify with the core message.

This means creators have an obligation to draw inspiration from these multiple versions of reality, encompassing a wide range of experiences.

YES! To sharing parts of our different realities in our creations!

YES! To being brave like a child and sharing our imagination with others through our creations!
