This artistic research uses relational filmmaking to explore how artistic identities are represented and negotiated within studio spaces today. Focusing on gendered dynamics in the Czech and Austrian contexts, it examines the studio not only as a site of artistic production, but also as a space where identity is constructed, mediated, and contested. Drawing on feminist theory, gender studies, and artistic research, it engages with strategies of representation and depresentation. Reflecting on the post-studio situation, it further considers how hidden infrastructures of solidarity—understood through Ewa Majewska’s concept of weak resistance—shape artistic identities and their modes of representation today.
