Four-channel installation.
The installation consists of four independent works videoed on the same shore during the year of the snake between 10 February 2013 and 28 January 2014, which are synchronised. The four parts can also be shown in various combinations.
1. Year of the Snake – Swinging Along. People visiting or working on Harakka Island sit for a while in a swing attached to an aspen on the western shore of the island approximately once a week during the year of the snake between 10 February 2013 and 28 January 2014.
2. Year of the Snake – Swinging. Wrapped in a pale blue scarf I am swinging in a swing attached to an aspen on the western shore of Harakka Island approximately once a week during the year of the snake between 10 February 2013 and 28 January 2014.
3. Year of the Snake – By the Swing (short). Wrapped in a pale blue scarf I am sitting next to a swing attached to an aspen on the western shore of Harakka Island approximately once a week during the year of the snake between 10 February 2013 and 28 January 2014.
4. Year of the Snake – Watching the Harbour (short). Wrapped in a pale blue scarf I am sitting on a pile of rocks on the western shore of Harakka Island approximately once a week during the year of the snake between 10 February 2013 and 28 January 2014.

The two first mentioned were videoed approximately once a week during the year of the snake 2013 on the western shore of Harakka Island. The third was videoed during the month of May 2014 on the eastern shore of Harakka Island. Aspen figure in all three of them.
