ph - is it phrase or phase? At times, I describe the repeating sound as a phase, at other times I use the term phrase. The latter more narrative, the former a temporal attribute. I usually don't like narrativity.

Like the strangeness of tearing apart a piece of paper that contains text, when wanting to anonymise it for disposal, and you witness how the information is persistent even on the tiniest fragments.

The sound is never separable from the haptic of the petri dishes, even if the acoustic colourisation is perhaps subtle (a small wire transmitting onto the lid). When Rolf Julius painted a speaker cone in yellow, the sound also became yellow somehow.
