This exposition is a reflection on the created musical performance titled the HumanTree, that I presented in December 2019 as part of the Global Music Master program. The written text, audio and visual elements are all intended to have equal weight and contribute to deconstructing the project and creating greater understanding of the process and outcomes. The main focus of the project was on discovering my inner voice and expanding my artistic identity through working together in a multicultural group. The aim of this written reflection is to document and analyse the collaborative process, describe the philosophy that was behind the creation and expand knowledge about how creativity worked and how these insights can give a greater understanding for future collaborations. I, Roser Gabriel, was the project leader, facilitating the collaboration through the seven themes of the HumanTree.

3.4 Analyses and performance of the themes

Having described the creative process more generally, this section now presents each theme in detail. The creative process will be described with its most significant group dynamics, the stage movements as well as the visual art involved. Each of the themes can be heard and seen in video in an attempt to bring the performance alive again even if in a different way. The numbers are related to the program and they will follow from 1 to 7 in a growing fashion as representing the growth of a tree.
