The more they spit on me, the faster I flower We research whether the new technology is able to deepen the documentary narrative, and if so, how? Can we include more voices, tell other stories, and attract a wider audience?  In northern Botkyrka there are million program areas, in the southern rural areas and it is a municipality with clear contradictions. Can the documentary process challenge the polarization of Botkyrka? The new technology takes you home to people in northern and southern Botkyrka where you get to experience everyday life in the suburb and attend festivities and ceremonies. The constant renegotiation of roles and positions of power that the use of new technology entails opens up new opportunities, but also new risks. It gets a bit swaying, but in a good way! Ethical issues take place in this project during the idea work, on the set, and in the choice of platform and distribution format. But whose reality is portrayed? How? And by whom? For me, the documentary narrative is a way to understand my own experience of the world, to develop a language to share this image with others, in order to enable a collective knowledge development that further expands my understanding of reality. In this perspective, art is about a basic investigation of my own perception and participatory methods to constantly destabilize my own worldview with the help of others.

As both an overarching idea and a hands-on approach for improving a neighborhood, city, or region, placemaking inspires people to collectively reimagine and reinvent public spaces. Strengthening the connection between people and the places they share, placemaking refers to a collaborative process by which we can shape our public realm in order to maximize shared value. With community-based participation at its center, an effective placemaking process capitalizes on a local community's assets, inspiration and potential.

At home, Northen Botkyrka

Botkyrka is a municipality with clear divisions between north and south, individual and society. How can this complex reality be understood and challenged through audio-visual modes of inquiry? To open spaces for renegotiating of identities? 360° video, Mixed Reality and Locative media facilitate the opportunity to move from one perspective to another, from one position of power to another.
