Workshop

What matters? | Ben Hekkema

What drives an artist to create? What themes resonate so deeply that they demand expression through the medium of art? This question serves as the foundation of our investigation into the concept of "matter of concern", a framework that invites artists to engage deeply with both personal beliefs and broader social issues. The purpose of this 90-minute workshop is to explore how these themes—whether personal, social, or political—can be translated into meaningful artistic expression.
