ARTIVISM
is a combination of art and activism. It is interdisciplinary as it includes all artistic fields, and it uses all their means for its expression. Its main goal is to draw attention to pressing issues of today's world and to encourage open dialogue on issues of social justice. Similarly to protestors in demonstrations, artivists use their artistic potential to protest against injustice and to fight against oppression. Artivism is a non-violent way to empower the voiceless.
