Patterns Obsreved
In the designs shown on the left, it was observed that most of those who chose to design a replacement fo the conventional tie, made them "less serious", "more comfortable", and "more aesthetically interesting". In addtion, some designed them to be worn in alternative ways as well- i.e. as a belt. An intersting trend to see was that many tried to design a tie, or a variation therof, that would make it more "worth" wearing.
This indicates that the current tie may be considred too plain and may change to adopt either a more innovative or practical design.
