Drag artist Maimu Brushwood

os. Huolirinta

Maimu Brushwood is my poem, speech and story writing drag alter ego that was born 2016. (Pronouns she, her / they, them)

Maimu’s writings often reflect love, identity, growing pains – both in growing up in the shadows of norms as well as the painfulness of growing in weight. Maimu’s life experience can be detected in her poems. Despite her tragic experiences Maimu still wants to believe in a better tomorrow, and in peace and love. She´s a softly anarchist person and she wants to make the world a better place.
