About the Musicians and the Project

The two main ensembles featured in this concert belong to the CSKG in Madrid, where they are completing their Bachelor Degree (4th year) and Master’s studies in Solo Performance.

K-Os Groups

An ensemble born within the course Contemporary Chamber Music, taken during the fourth year of the Bachelor Degree at CSKG in Madrid. It was created with the aim of showcasing the work developed in the course and has so far been characterized by offering concerts that go beyond contemporary music, which nonetheless remains the central focus of the class.

ONoff Ensemble

As a saxophone ensemble formed within the class of their professor and director Pedro Pablo Cámara, ONoff emerged from the enthusiasm of a group of saxophonists seeking to offer a new perspective on the repertoire through the exploration of different aesthetics. In their ongoing search, they aim to delve deeply into each musical language, always guided by a respect for the authenticity of texts, periods, and composers. Their field of study ranges from 17th-century music to the present day, maintaining a close commitment to experimental music and creations involving electronic media.

Their programs span from solo pieces to larger formats with up to ten musicians, always open to expanding the ensemble with other instruments and artists. The group was founded and continues to develop within the framework of the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska in Madrid, under the direction of their professor, saxophonist Pedro Pablo Cámara.

To date, they have performed as an ensemble at festivals such as Noches del Real Sitio de La Granja de San Ildefonso, FACYL Maestros Internacionales at the Auditorio Ciudad de León, Suecasax, Festival EMA, and Festival Art Son Mod by Neopercusión, premiering works by Alberto Bernal, David Antúnez, and Román González.
