I was born in Italy in march 2001. Despite my fascination for music, I also always had interest for technology, most likely as a consequence of sci-fi medias. However, due to the high work load I was receiving around the age of 16 I decided to abandon my science-oriented highschool and switch to a music-oriented one before starting the Conservatory in piano.
Because of this fragmented school background, I always felt like a fish out of water while working on this research. I lacked both a solid knowledge of historical and philological research tools -widely used in studies on Early Music- and both the skills necessary for a truly rigorous dissertation in formal mathematics. On top of that I am also not a programmer.
Thinking it through now, it might have been better for me to focus on things I knew better instead. But to be fully honest with the reader, I have to confess I struggle finding them.
