Librarsi: exploring musical co-creativity through human resonance by Corrado Cerutti

Librarsi is a co-writing project by Corrado Cerutti and Sara Simionato in which they explore the compositional possibilities that arise from the sharing of ideas, emotions and experiences regarding collective improvisation and orchestration. Through moments of free improvisation, they search for a common ground where they can grow an artistic and musical result that combines their musical qualities and sensitivity. In this presentation, they explore all the steps of the process that contributes to the development of a co-written project, from the first compositional ideas, to the orchestrations for a contemporary septet and to the final sonic result.

NAVIGATING THE EXPOSITION

This exposition attempts to illustrate our methodology for collaborative music-making exploration.

It is organised in two main blocks: (1) PRACTICE and (2) SELF-CHECK

(1) PRACTICE:

This page shows our main process in creating a unique voice together. We invite the reader to explore the page freely and discover our ways to communicate toghether.
