For our moodboard, we selected posters from various designers that connect with the punk style. The main theme revolves around the punk culture of the 1970s, from which we drew inspiration for its chaotic aesthetic. We used a vibrant color palette of neon pink and yellow, clearly contrasting with gritty black-and-white textured backgrounds to convey the movement’s urgency and rebellious energy. Typography is a key element, reflecting the iconic zines and band posters characteristic of the era. Additionally, graffiti-inspired details and newsletter layouts highlight the confrontational essence of punk.
From the start of this project we have made experiments using sprays, newspapers, papers with textures, graffiti and walls. Taking picture each element and adding it together.
At the same time using processing to see if the pictures are working
and if they match with our theme
At the end we ended up with pictures that have more to do with
typography, in the colors of black and white. The words we wanted to pay more attention to, are yellow and pink.(what is punk)
