Embrace the nocturnal vault in a world where light pollution is washing out night skies with an average increase of 12%. This practice-based exploration of eco-systems thriving at night and star-systems illuminating our way to knowledge and other animal's way to food and reproduction aims to make us aware of the wonders we might miss. 24 minutes is as long as our rods, the photoreceptors on our retina, need to regain control in darkness, a symbolic length, a length allowing us to meditate and reflect and feel the night as a safe place to be.
Hugarflug will serve as the final public presentation of the insights and outcomes of Darkness Matters, as developed with the support of Stockholm University of the Arts.
