This exposition constitutes an audible and graphical analysis of musical techniques used on the modern flute. The sounds have been arranged based on my experience as an improvising musician with the aim of illustrating and organizing the approaches to as well as the sounding results of a selection of flautistic methods. The resulting work serves as concluding project within the framework of my Bachelor studies in Classical Flute and Improvisation at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
