The motion-capture data used by the Rebody project has been collected in a performance of Bodyscapes by Valentina Moar.
The production of Rebody has been funded by the Austrian Science Fund FWF in the context of the TRP project Embodied Generative Music (L 399) and the PEEK project The Choreography of Sound (AR 41).
Both projects were conducted at the Institute of Electonic Music and Acoustics (IEM) of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG).
Rebody grew out of the cooperation of Michael Schwab and Gerhard Eckel during their Senior Research Fellowships at the Orpheus Research Centre in Music (ORCiM) at the Orpheus Institute in Ghent.
