Verena Miedl-Faißt (Center Research Focus, PhD candidate PhD in Art) invites us with "Await what the stars will bring" to walk through her artistic research trajectory. Her contribution poetically narrates on longings, and on beautiful and painful experiences in connection with her artistic practice and collaborative work with her nephew L. Based on Donna Haraway’s concept of kinship, Miedl-Faißt searches for possibilities of relating to each other and seeks ways to make inner processes accessible. The contribution provides insights into her work with children and colleagues and how she creates “materialized relations, co-creations objecting time, space, and loneliness.”

This exposition is in progress and its share status is: visible to all.
How to research ongoing life-living events in preschool, emerging open curriculum and children’s participation in pedagogical practice of early childhood education? How to do a research that acknowledges and works with creative capacities of life and education?
In this exposition, I explore method of intuition developed by French philosopher Henri Bergson (1859-1941) and potentials that it opens up for and within collaborative action research in early childhood education. I invite readers to follow an example from pedagogical practice in one preschool in Serbia, to join teachers and researcher in their effort to coincide with ongoing children's participation in addressing questions that emerge in their encounters with the world, through art-making.
